“The Mad Hatter” by abzhakim is currently the highest scoring submission in our Alice Through the Looking Glass design challenge! Here’s what the artist had to say about this submission:
“Alice Through The Looking Glass, based on the previews and the first release, is a story for both young and old, and for every kid inside of us all. Expressing wild imagination and beautiful vivid colours in visuals that just inspire the viewer–a combination of those elements is what drives me as an artist. Everything about this movie is big, bold and colourful– really captures your full attention, and I would be thrilled if I can have at least some of that success with this custom piece I made.”
Artists, you have less than 2 weeks left to submit to this challenge for a chance at $2,000 and more!
This challenge might be driving us a little … mad.
The sequel to Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, Disney’s Alice Through the Looking Glass delivers the same visual opulence and eerie fantasy. When Alice returns to Underland and finds the Mad Hatter in peril, she journeys back in time to confront her friend’s past.
Let the surreally saturated colors, couture costumes, and nonsensical characters of Alice Through the Looking Glass inspire your next design. Whether you view the Cheshire Cat, the Red Queen, and the other inhabitants of Underland as lovable eccentrics or truly the stuff nightmares are made of, you gotta admit they’ll look fantastic on tees and totes!
If ever there was a truly ageless movie, it’d be The Fifth Element. Not even arguably – that’s just (biased) fact.
Up for scoring: “Fhloston Paradise” by RollyRocket
“Get your ass kicked out of your sweaty Bermuda shirts and straight into space by Korben Dallas. ‘Cause with voting this bombshelling 80’s retrofuturistic-summer-design you just won the Gemini Croquettes Contest and got yourself a ticket to the hotel of a thousand and one follies, lollies, and lick ‘em lollies – Fhloston Paradise!
DJ Ruby Rhod himself is goin’ to be so flashed by this design, that his green-scale-rating-system gets even higher pitched than the voice of the Diva! So, be sure to keep your multipass ready for this big ba-da boom and show everyone with the shirt, that you sure are a supreme being like - The Fifth Element!”
Artists, you have just over a week left to submit to our Retrofuturism design challenge for a chance at $1K and more!
What’s the best way to get over Legend of Korra withdrawal? Getting obsessed with the same studio’s shiny new project, of course!
