There are lots of great words out there. But you’re gonna have to choose just one. For this challenge, pick a word that deserves to be shouted from the rooftops. Then, design the hell out of it.
This one’s all about typography, hand-lettering and making your word be the focus of the design. So craft each letter with care.
Kinda like the other best May pun – the Justin Timberlake “It’s gonna be May!” meme – it’s exactly what it sounds like: draw Mermaids and Mermen!

Good morning, sunshine! For this challenge, design your very own original cereal for the most important meal of the day. Do you like your flakes frosted? Your crunches cinnamon toasted? Does your cereal have a mascot? Does it come with a prize? What’s its slogan?
…Whoa, whoa whoa. That’s way too many questions. You just woke up. Go ahead grab your coffee and a few spoonful of your fave flakes before you get started. Then, bowl us over with your brand new chocolately-sweet-sour-sugary-totally-weird cereal concoction.

This is the second challenge in our Threadhome series, and we’re so excited to snuggle up with our favorite designs. So excited, we want more of them! Think of your dream bed or couch. What designs would be awesome on a blanket for your couch? On a duvet cover for your bed — or guest bed? Submit designs that will inspire, calm, or be a conversation piece for the room. Patterns, photos, bold graphics, single images, funny, beautiful…we can’t wait to see what you come up with. We’re sitting on the edges of our couches and beds in anticipation.

Let’s celebrate the magic that happens when we take ordinary facts and visualize them with related shapes, topical icons and cleverly-used imagery.
Infographics help us better understand the topic they dive into. We’re able to compare and contrast sets of data more easily and engage in a more interesting way with the subject at hand. Plus, they’re really fun to look at.
For this challenge, we want you to pick a topic and make your own awesome infographic. Your design can be full of actual facts, or just a study in silly. Just make sure it makes a rad tee, pillow, tote, shower curtain…you get the idea! Bonus points if your infographic plays off the environment (shower curtain/powder room, tote/grocery store, etc).
